Opening in 1971, The Plaza Hotel & Casino is one of the classic casinos that established Las Vegas as the city of glitz, glamour, and gaming. The Plaza, located at #1 Main Street is a historical icon for downtown Las Vegas. Over the last 40 years, the Plaza has been featured in several motion pictures and influenced the design and shape of Sin City’s skyline

GOAL

Re-engage website visitors over the age of 65+ that did not book a room

CHALLENGE

Break through the gluttony of display ads and bring non-converting, high quality traffic back into our reservation funnel.

SOLUTION

Returning guests are important to the Plaza. We took a step into emotional branding and launched a nostalgia-driven campaign which featured vintage images that revisit earlier years at the Plaza for the audience to reminisce.

72% increase in Click Through Rate

Click through rate increased 72% using the nostalgic image over the interior image for re-engagement.
